A bit about me...
I have always had a love for creating, whether it be detailed paintings and drawings, textile heavy fashion garments, or even experimenting with ceramics and clay. I soon realised that I much preferred the idea of designing and creating the fabrics for fashion, instead of actually constructing the garments. After discovering this I wanted to learn more about the world of surface pattern design, and applied to the University of Wales Trinity Saint David at Swansea College of Art. Since then I have fully thrived, learning an abundance of techniques, processes, pattern methods and really finding my style as a designer.
I have been very lucky to have been noticed and congratulated on a lot of the work I have produced over my years studying at Swansea College of art. From I-Dotts wallpaper competition where I placed third with my screen printed wallpaper. Winning the live brief with the fashion brand MONKI and receiving a personal portfolio review, I was recently recognised by the head of design at Laura Ashley from our live brief.
I am currently working towards my final year at Swansea College of Art, and I am really looking forward to what the future holds for me in the design industry. I would love to one day be working for a resort wear, swimwear, or surf wear brand, being able to elevate garments through my unique and energising prints and patterns.
